One Year

Purposefully one year anniversary

It was one year ago when I launched Purposefully, and what a year it’s been. A time of transition for grantmakers, charities and non-profit organizations as we tackle the ongoing effects of the pandemic, work to address systemic inequity in philanthropy, and the sector itself lobbying for change.

Over the past year, I’ve been humbled to work with incredible people making impact every day. I've worked with leaders addressing inclusion and safety in BC amateur sports; networks supporting the next generation of BC diabetes researchers; and teams providing services for Ukrainian newcomers. I have gained so much by becoming a small part of these organizations and their impact.

My first year at Purposefully has been filled with learning - from my clients and the people they support, formal learning in leadership coaching and fundraising, to sharing learning by delivering workshops on grant writing, volunteerism and strategic planning. I cannot wait to see what year two brings.

To each of you - thank you for making Purposefully part of your journey of impact.
